Program Manager
Customer Program Manager - Base salary to $150,000 +20% bonus

The corporation operates more than 40 production facilities in North America, Europe and Asia.
Overview:
Program Manage projects and development projects for our automotive customers up until successful start of production.
Will pilot the internal resources of this corporation, as well as those of the scientific and technical partners which are part of the network of competences supporting the corporations R&D, to meet the project's objectives of quality, cost and lead-time, and deliver the optimum solution to the customer.
Work in close cooperation with our field engineers and make sure that the customer needs are fully understood and the solutions implemented by answering them in full in a cost effective and profitable way for the company.
A special focus will also be put on the support to the customer in car body design, material choice and material processing in close relation with our R&D, technology, production, sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities Include:
Set-up and manage a portfolio of strategic product and application development projects.
Material qualifications with customers and Tier1 suppliers.
Whenever appropriate in order to safeguard our intellectual property rights.
Detect technological developments at customer which influence or change the requirements for our material qualities.
Regularly organize project meetings with the relevant customer's departments to follow-up the status of the project portfolio.
Responsible for on-time, in full and in budget finalization, follow up, and delivery of strategic product- and application development projects including qualifications (internally and at customers)
Establish the link with the Program teams, especially with R&D, PPT (Technology), Production, Sales and Marketing to ensure an efficient project management within the frame of the Product Management process
Provide input for R&D Strategy and R&D Year plan.
Develop, Lead and coach the relationships with the R&D Customer Application Development team.
Qualifications:
Industrial Engineering or Civil Engineer degree. (Will consider others)
Excellent proven Project Management skills

years Program Management experience.
Candidate has to be: a team player, a driving force, a source of initiative, structured, capable of delegation and control of the tasks, good in communication, written and verbal, with some kind of passion for the business and customer's applications
Knowledge of alloys, heat treatments, or rolled steel helpful.
