Job Description
Summary
Responsible for preparation and completion of certification data packages including: interface loads reports, stress analysis, structural qualification reports, static, dynamic and flammability test plans and reports in support of certification of aircraft passenger seat products.
Duties / Responsibilities
Preparation of test plans, reports and other necessary documents in support of FAA certification and compliance with Airframe manufacturer requirements.
Support testing activities in the test laboratory.
Support test article conformity activities, as required.
Communication with FAA-DER, FAA engineer and customer/Airframe manufacturer regarding certification issues.
Completion of drawings sign-off with proper verification of compliance.
Compliance with Weber procedures (QAP) and certification internal procedures.
Supervises and trains other certification engineers and reviews plans/reports.
Lead standardization and system organizational effort.
Performs other duties as required.
Knowledge and skills:
Must be detail oriented and have sound engineering judgment.
Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
Must have ability to think strategically and solve problems.
Must be able to communicate efficiently in writing and verbally.
Must be able to operate standard office equipment.
Must be able to perform standard stress analysis.
Must have complete knowledge of FAA and airframe manufacturer requirements.
Must be familiar with quality conformity procedures.
Must be able to generate documents such as, plans, data sheets and reports.
Must have the ability to perform tests and some physical work at the test laboratory, as required.
Education and/or
Experience:
Must have a Masters degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent based on education/training and/or experience, plus five years related certification experience.
Alternately, a Bachelors degree, or equivalent based on education/training and or experience, in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering plus seven years related certification experience.
Supervisory experience preferred but not required
Experience in finite element analysis methods or MSC NASTRAN is preferred but not required.
Communication Skills: Must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English. D) Reasoning Ability: Ability to think strategically and solve problems.
Skill and Experience Details:
Minimum Experience Required: 5-8 YEARS
Mandatory Skills: Pro-E CADTools, Geometric dimensioning and tolerance, Design of machine elements, Product development -Mechanical
Desirable Skills: Language Skills: English Language

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
