Job Details: Under general supervision and following hospital policy and procedure, provides professional nursing care to patients. Assesses patient care needs, plans and implements nursing care procedures, evaluates patient progress and modifies care plan as necessary. Provides teaching to patients and their families. Directs the work of nursing support staff through the use of appropriate delegation and supervision skills. A. Minimum Education: Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program. B. Experience: One to two years Registered Nurse experience in Medical/Surgical. ACLS Certification required within the first year of employment and maintained throughout employment (includes BLS, healthprovider). Emergency Department Graduate Nurses may be selected if qualifications are met as stated in Policy G1(A&L) Emergency Department P&P. C. Certification, Licensure, Registration: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan. Successful Healthcare Provider course completion.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
