As a Proofreader, your primary responsibility will be the review and markup of safety documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established guidelines.
Your meticulous approach, attention to detail and strong command of language will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our safety documentation.
This position is full-time, with profit sharing, a complete benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, Life/AD&D, STD & LTD, as well as 401k and paid time off.
This is an hourly position with rate commensurate with experience.
Expectations and Responsibilities Document review and markup.
Verify document accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with writers and subject matter experts.
Meet deadlines and manage multiple proofreading projects simultaneously.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a proofreader.
Excellent command of written English.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors quickly and accurately.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide clear and constructive feedback.
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed records of proofreading changes.
