The successful candidate will provide administrative support to attorneys and enhance overall office effectiveness.
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain attorney calendars.
Experience with Federal, State and District court filings.
Schedule depositions and court appearances.
Handle communication with clients.
Drafting and revising pleadings and other legal documents.
Answering and directing phone calls.

The key skills and qualities required:
Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary.

Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office.
Computer literacy.
Working knowledge of case management software.
Excellent secretarial and organizational skills.
Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure.
Defense experience a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
