Treasury Intern

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring daily cash positions and forecasting future cash flows.

  • Analyze financial data to populate cash forecast.

  • Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy in cash balances.

  • Support the processing of payments and disbursements.

  • Develop reports and presentations for hedging monthly meetings, and cash forecast.

  • Develop training materials as new processes are developed or introduced.

  • Contribute to special projects as assigned by the treasury team.

Qualifications:

  • Must be attending a 4-year accredited University
    • Pursuing a degree in Finance
    • Junior, Senior, or Masters student
  • MS Office & tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), with emphasis on Excel (charting, graphing, data sorting and manipulation, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, time management, Microsoft excel advance, Financial modeling.
  • Experience with other data management systems highly desired. SAP (preferred)
  • Prior automotive internship experience is preferred

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
