You will assist coworkers in showing slabs to customers by moving slabs for them to make selections.
This involves direct contact with customers and a friendly disposition is a must.
You will pull orders for delivery from a pick list and maintain delivery schedule.
You will load delivery vehicles according to DOT regulations You will replenish active inventory as required You will receive and unload slab and tile shipping containers You will assist fellow employees with daily operations of the branch You will help to maintain a clean workspace You will participate in continuous improvement meetings for the warehouse departments and the company.
What You Need High School degree or higher education Friendly, confident, and customer focused Good verbal communication skills Dependable with the desire to work Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs.
Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment and on individual assignments Must be able to work full-time and within company requirements Nice to Have Experience using a forklift is a PLUS, but will train the proper candidate Experience operating an overhead crane is a PLUS, but will train the proper candidate Who We Are Family-owned and in business since 1995, Dwyer Marble & Stone is one of the largest and most respected importers and wholesale distributors of surface materials in the Midwest.
