Summary:
The Requirements Engineering position is the key technical focal point for a project or program both internal to Harman and external to suppliers and the OEM customer. Able to bring a technical team together, make tradeoffs, resolve issues and achieve a technical solution that meets the customer requirements.
Job
Responsibilities:
Interface with the customer, configuration management, and the software development team to develop technical functional/performance specifications based on customer specifications and internal documents to clearly and concisely capture what is required of the product.
Manage customer requirements, including tracking customer specifications, versions, and issues to ensure proper product definition.
Interface with both the customer and Harman Product Engineering teams to coordinate a successful resolution of issues.
Document and maintain product requirement exceptions.
Analyze and identify risk level associated with new feature development based on requirements status.
Participate in internal and customer driven design reviews throughout program.
Communicates the software architecture to customers
Leads the development team in finding root cause of failures.
Basic
Qualifications:
BSEE / BSCS / (or equivalent); MSEE / MSCS preferred.

years Systems Engineering background or equivalent
Broad Technical Background with general knowledge of Bluetooth, WiFi, GSM/CDMA technology, smart phones, Navigation, GPS, Satellite Radio, video, Voice Recognition, HMI design, Hands-Free operation and automotive environmental requirements. Strong automotive background with working knowledge of vehicle networking protocols.
Practical experience in related areas such as system design, hardware/software design and real time embedded applications
Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
Automotive or cellular industry experience preferred
Eligibility Requirements:
Willingness to travel 10% of the time
Willingness to work in an office in Farmington Hills, MI

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
