Summary:
Harman's Automotive Audio SBU is the global leader in the design and manufacture of OEM Branded Audio systems. Program execution and product quality are another strong focus for the Audio SBU.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Design and tune audio systems for the automotive environment.
Investigate new audio related technologies and best practices.
Research and create novel solutions to issues in acoustic systems for the automotive environment.
Develop and document worldwide acoustic systems tools and best practices.
Acoustic systems leader for OEM customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Acoustics is required. Master's Degree in Engineering preferred.
2-7
years of experience in an audio related field is required;
Specific experience required in 3 or more of the following fields: acoustical engineering, transducer engineering, digital signal processing, amplifier engineering, psycho-acoustics and recording arts.
Knowledge of Matlab, C, C++, algorithm development and programming is preferred.
Detailed knowledge of acoustic theory, sound reproduction and sound system tuning is strongly preferred.

Eligibility Requirements:
Willingness to travel to customer sites, including international travel, up to 30% of the time.
Willingness to work in an office in Novi, MI or Seoul, South Korea.
Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test.
Willingness for overtime and weekend work, as needed.
