We are seeking a Director for our Customer/User Experience (CX/UX) Practice as it continues to grow and evolve.
The ideal candidate can lead the strategy and implementation of CX/UX on X by 2's client engagements in collaboration with cross-functional software design/development teams, our client's business users/customers and business/technical subject matter-experts.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a lead UX strategist.
Summary Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to:
Stay updated on the latest CX/UX trends and methodologies in our Healthcare and Insurance Industries.
Craft and fine-tune X by 2's CX/UX service offering.
Actively network with industry professionals and prospects.
Create and deliver compelling presentations and case studies in industry conferences.
Create and walk-through our CX/UX approaches and samples of our project deliverables in prospect/client meetings.
Lead and/or be embedded in strategy engagements to:
Plan and facilitate design thinking, innovation and business workshops to foster shared understanding and alignment among stakeholders/users/customers.
Research and develop personas and customer/user journeys.
Identify and document CX/UX opportunities to improve and re-think key business workflows and customer/user journeys.
Envision CX/UX solutions and develop screen flows and wireframes.
Work with designers to convert CX/UX vision into presentations, hi-fidelity mock-ups and click-through prototypes.
Lead and/or be embedded in software implementation to:
Set the CX/UX direction and provide leadership throughout the entire implementation.
Define and oversee CX/UX aspects of the project approach, milestones, and deliverables.
Engage in regular client meetings to understand their needs, provide UX insights, and foster strong client relationships.
Mentor and guide UI/UX designers and strategists.
Deeply understand customer/user interactions and business workflows.
Develop information architecture, customer/user journeys, screen flows, and wire-frames.
Work with designers and iterate on UI/UX design deliverables.
Validate UI/UX deliverables through usability research and testing.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Courses/Certifications in UI, UX and Design (Topics:
journey mapping, usability testing, mobile/web app design, and information architecture.
) Deep knowledge and experience in CX/UX methodologies and processes.

years of UX strategy related experience, creating user experiences and user interfaces across various form-factors (ex:
Web, Desktop, Mobile.
) Experience working on web-enabled enterprise software platforms.
Experience in Healthcare (ex:
Health Insurance, Hospitals/Providers, Healthcare Solution Providers.
) Experience working in Consulting roles at client organizations.
Office/Travel Requirements Required to work from the Farmington Hills, MI office 1-2 Days per week.
Occasional travel by air or car to conferences and prospect/client locations.
