Patient registration/EMR Insurance verification Familiar with simple computer tasks and Microsoft Vitals EKG Proficient in venipuncture and injections Collecting urine specimens and preparing for LAB send-outs In office testing including FLU, strep and pregnancy testing Prepare for suturing Sterilization, etc.
Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy, and physiology Requirements for the PCT position include:
Successful completion of a PCT training program from an accredited institution or Have at least one (1) year of verifiable, clinical work experience in an Emergency Department, Hospital, or Urgent Care environment as a Medical Assistant, ED/ER Technician, or Patient Care Technician.
Ability to pass our internal clinical assessment.
Able to work 4-5 days a week Able to work 7-13 hour shifts Able to work morning and afternoon shifts Able to work weekends Able to be on call for at least 2 shifts per week.
Required to travel to different locations within an hour radius for coverage in times of critical business demands or staffing needs Required to have a valid driver's license or a valid driver's level 2 permit Must have reliable transportation Able to sit, walk, reach with hands and arms throughout the workday.
Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.
Occasionally required to lift moderate weight (20-40 pounds) Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust or focus.
