Our client seeks a talented Software professional for a unique role in their product organization. This is a hybrid position of development, technical writing and software installation & support.
Write specifications for the control systems and the systems interface
Develop and test code for industrial equipment control and interface systems
Write system functional description and user manuals
Commission control systems at customer sites.
Support and troubleshoot existing and new customer control systems.
Qualifications Sought
BSCS or equivalent 4 year degree preferred
Experience developing software for real-time, industrial control systems required
C+
programming experience, with C# a plus, in a Microsoft Visual Studio development environment on Windows Operating Systems required
Must have strong verbal and written English language skills
Network communications and TCP/IP communications desired
Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 and Microsoft Presentation Foundation (MPF) both a plus
Java/Eclipse/Android SDK also a plus
Business travel is required to customer site locations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
