Job Description
DB2 DBA Experience on z/OS.
Database tools and utilities such as the BMC suite.
Stored Procedures (COBOL and NATIVE), Triggers and UDFs.
Creating and maintaining the DB2 databases.
Good exposure on db2 database upgrades.
Converting the logical model to physical model Power Designer.
Good exposure in replication activities (SQL replication & Q Replication)
Creating and scheduling new jobs.
Buffer pool monitoring.
Taking care of the production job abends.
Taking the backup and Restore the backup data.
Providing access to the development team.
Fixing the environment Related issues.
Providing technical support to the application team
Good Knowledge on Rexx
Database Certifications as appropriate preferred
Essential Skill(s)
Mainframe Infra Consulting, DB2 Application Admin, MF DB2 Admin, COBOL
