Responsibilities:
Development of embedded software for automotive ECU's used in passive safety application
Elicitation and documentation of software requirements from system requirements using formal requirements management tools
Create modular/reusable embedded software design along with associated documentation
Develop and document software code packages written in C language.
Develop specific test cases and perform unit, module and integration software testing along with required documentation
Perform required version/configuration management activities
Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to less senior team members
Lead tasks to improve the technical and project planning competency of the team
Education Required:
BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a 4 year degree with 7 years of embedded software development experience
Required Experience

Years embedded software
Programming language: C/C++, Assembly
Change Control Management (CCM)
Software Configuration Management (SCM)
Requirements management experience
Disciplined use of software process
Knowledge of CMMI or Automotive SPICE process
Education Desired:
MSEE, MSCE or related field of study
Desired Experience
Visual Basic, PERL or other scripting languages
Low level driver development
Use of UML tools
Use of Doors and/or MKS Integrity Requirements Management tools
Use of MKS Integrity VM and defect/workflow management tools
Disciplined use of CMMI and Automotive SPICE process
MISRA C, ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR standards
Automotive microcontrollers i.e. Freescale, Infineon and Renesas
Automotive embedded controls/software
